Well, I haven’t listened to the podcast, but I fully intend to. Unless, of course, you say that Life of Pi is anything short of amazing. I read that book in one friggin sitting for my AP Lit class years ago in high school- a first for me for an assigned book- because I just couldn’t put it down.

So yeah… I’ll listen sometime soonish, I have lessons to plan first, but I really hoped you liked it!

Loved this book. Loved it. I couldn’t believe I could be so fascinated by months in a lifeboat, but it was riveting. Haven’t seen the movie yet, will soon, but I don’t see how a book this cerebral can possibly adequately filmed.

Oh Mindy . . . I just read the entire reievw . . . and oh goodness, that’s quite a reievw.I’ve often scratched my head at the Man Booker awards. Have you tried to read WOLF HALL? It’s just a mess. As I was reading, I kept thinking Get thee to an editor.
